TAYLOR SWIFT WINS THREE AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS,

INCLUDING ARTIST OF THE YEAR

TAYLOR IS THE FIRST-EVER TWO-TIME WINNER OF AMA ARTIST OF THE YEAR

New York, NY – November 21, 2011 – Taylor Swift won big at last night’s 39th Annual American Music Awards, taking home trophies in every category where she had a nomination, including the evening’s biggest award, Artist of the Year. Taylor also won the awards for Favorite Female Artist (Country), and Favorite Album (Country – for Speak Now).

Taylor, who was also named AMA Artist of the Year in 2009, is the first artist ever to win AMA Artist of the Year more than once. Last night’s awards bring her career total AMA wins to 10.

Last month, Taylor won Entertainer of the Year at the 2011 CMA Awards, her second time to claim Country music’s highest honor. Earlier this year, she was awarded the Entertainer of the Year statue by the ACM, and Taylor will be honored as the 2011 Woman of the Year next week at Billboard’s annual Women In Music event.

Taylor’s AMA wins came on the eve of tonight’s first of two sold-out nights at Madison Square Garden, the final shows of the year on her blockbuster Speak Now World Tour. The tour played to capacity crowds in stadiums and arenas over 98 shows in 17 countries spanning three continents this year, and will continue in 2012 with shows Australia and New Zealand.

SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR – LIVE, CD/DVD and CD/Blu-ray sets of Taylor’s 2011 concert, will be available in stores and at online retailers today (November 21st). Sold as a CD/DVD or CD/Blu-ray combo-pak, the set is released on Big Machine Records.

As Taylor’s fans know, 13 is her lucky number. Artist of the Year was last night’s thirteenth and final award.
