JASON ALDEAN SELLS OUT NASHVILLE'S BRIDGESTONE ARENA
IN MINUTES THIS MORNING

NASHVILLE, TENN – Sept. 23, 2011 – 2011 CMA “Entertainer of the Year” nominee Jason Aldean sold over 15,000 tickets for his Feb. 24 "My Kinda Party" tour stop at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena in minutes this morning.  Fellow Georgia native and Capitol Nashville recording artist Luke Bryan will open the date.

"It feels good to sell out any venue in any city, but to sell out your hometown is just an unbelievable feeling," says Aldean.  "I can't wait to come home for this one…you can bet me and the boys in the band will be ready to go that night!"

Of last week's stop in Cleveland, Chuck Yarborough at the Cleveland Plain Dealer commented, "Aldean brings an energy to the stage that country hasn't seen since the early days of Garth Brooks. …Like Brooks, Aldean is able to meld that energy with memorable, hook-driven songs, delivered on time, in key and with passion."

Aldean is tied for the most nominations at the Nov. CMA Awards with five nods in the categories of “Entertainer of the Year”, “Male Vocalist of the Year,” “Album of the Year” for MY KINDA PARTY and “Single of the Year“ and “Musical Event of the Year” for “Don’t You Wanna Stay” feat. Kelly Clarkson.

The fourth single off his DOUBLE PLATINUM album MY KINDA PARTY, “Tattoos on This Town” is currently climbing up the country charts.  For more information, visit www.jasonaldean.com.
